From At Last Wedding + Event Design: Combine a super in love {and adorable!} couple with some of the most romantic and picturesque scenes you can think of and there you have it… absolute wedding perfection! Jaime and Shawn decided on a destination wedding to the Virgin Islands, St. Croix to be exact, and they invited 100 of their family and friends to join along. It wasn’t just a wedding, they celebrated these love birds the entire weekend! From a flame throwing performance at their welcome party all the way to the day-after wedding brunch, it was certainly a joyous occasion.
As for the wedding, it was pure perfection! From the cliff and beach side ceremony all the way to the shades of blue hues, it’s definitely a beauty like you’ve never seen. The ceremony itself consisted of some traditional aspects, including the breaking of the glass, while it also included a mix of some unique details, such as having both the bride and grooms mothers take part in the sand ceremony. Our bride, Jaime, walked down the aisle to “Canon in D” which was played on the tropical steel pans, which fit wonderfully with the St. Croix theme. The reception was also quite the show stopper- decor included 3-tiered floating orchid centerpieces and seashell table numbers. The couple, as well as their parents, took part in the always-fun Horah dance and celebration, which was another fabulous way to include some tradition into their truly successful destination wedding.
