From the bride: I met my fiancé, Josh, in the athlete gym at Grand Canyon University the summer before I began attending there. We both had workouts and training throughout the summer in preparation for our collegiate soccer seasons in the fall. We hadn’t really had a chance to talk yet, but he always caught my eye. I didn’t know if he was interested in me or not, but I definitely was head over heels instantly and knew that something was different about him. I even looked him up on Facebook to see if he was taken! Little did I know, he saw me pausing to pray before my meal in the cafeteria and became even more interested in me. Then he was just trying to find the right time to ask me on a date. I went to his soccer game one night with some of my friends and I ran into his dad in the stands. I knew it was his dad from the Facebook pictures, but tried to play it off like I didn’t “know” Josh when his dad talked about him. After that conversation, Josh’s dad told him that I didn’t even know who he was, which delayed our first date, but it all ended up working out!
From Jessica Q Photography: Josh and Jessica wanted a fun and simple wedding day, surrounded by their friends and family. They even had a yummy waffle truck and a huge game of Jenga to entertain everyone!
