Bajan Wed is a fine art wedding publication, featuring the best and most romantic destinations in the world for weddings, engagements, and couples with wanderlust. We regularly feature some of the most unique locations in the world- Hawaii, the Caribbean, Mexico, Bali, Europe and more!
In 2018, Bajan Wed became part of The White Wren family of publications. Longtime editor and founder of Bajan Wed, Tamika Small, turned over the reigns of this amazing blog to us, and we are honored and humbled to take it on! Our publisher Brent Deitrich also has connections to the Caribbean, since his wife was born in Barbados.
Our goals continue to be to promote the best destinations in the world for adventurous couples, while highlighting our trusted family of wedding vendors who are willing to travel anywhere in the world to service your celebration!
We adhere to a photography style characterized by film photography – we love featuring analog photography, but will also accept digital photography submissions with a film aesthetic.

HOW DO YOU SAY ‘BAJAN’?
One of the most often asked (or mispronounced) words in our name – everyone wants to know how to really say it! With our publications roots in the Caribbean, specifically Barbados, ‘Bajan’ is the term used to describe people from Barbados and it is pronounced ‘BAY-JIN’.
Bajan Wed was launched in 2012 when the owner, Tamika Small, noticed a lack of online content for brides marrying in tropical settings, such as her island home, Barbados. With a keen editorial eye and her love for highlighting talented creatives, she developed Bajan Wed into a highly-regarded, international publication with a dedicated following.
