Windblown with sand in your toes … that’s the look of Christina & Aryan’s engagement session – and what better place to do it than on some large and windblown sandhills? We love the look of this and the spirit of adventure that it evokes. Now go have fun with your engagement session!
from the photographer: “Christina and Aryan knew they wanted somewhere totally different from the locations in their hometown for their engagements and drove almost the entire width of Texas to meet me at these sand hills. With a very early wake up call, we ventured out for a morning engagement session knowing we’d have the park to ourselves. It was so peaceful, allowing for genuine and soulful emotion to organically make its way to the forefront of their session.
With the sun starting to creep over the dunes, Christina and Aryan grew more playful and Christina effortlessly worked with the wind, which added so much lovely movement to her hair and dresses.
While the location of this session is one that stands out to me, it’s the seemingly effortless love between these two that really sets this session apart to me.”
from Christina: “Where do I begin? The last time I had professional photos taken were high school senior glamor shots and I’m sure you know how that goes. Fast forward 8 years and the love of my life asked me to marry him, so here we are needing professional photos! I found Abbey on Instagram and had a meeting with her over FaceTime to see if we were compatible, because honestly picking a photographer for your wedding is like picking your future husband, not easy and it’s forever. But we had the best time chatting and fell in love with her, I told her about my crazy idea about driving to The Monahans Sandhills State Park and she was totally onboard! It was that moment when my love for Abbey grew even more, we had never met but her energy and willingness to jump at any idea I had made me so excited. These pictures are a memory we will cherish forever.”
