Today’s inspiration board is a bit of a mishmash – while there is a heavy Victorian/Edwardian influence overall (the lovely tablescape, the wax-sealed wedding invitations and elegant reception sign), there is also a bit of Art Deco glamour thrown in there- the bride and bridesmaids’ gorgeous dresses, the two deliciously chic wedding cakes and the champagne tower.
Since Art Deco represents a more lavish and glam look as opposed to the more classically elegant and simple Vicotrian/Edwardian style which preceded it, I was not at all sure if this would work, but the palette (peach, white, blush and blush pink) ties all the elements together cohesively. So for you couples out there, if your wish is for an overall vintage look as opposed to a specific era, do not be afraid to experiment!
