Adorned in array of pretty hues, balanced by cool, neutral tones and sprinkled throughout with the most romantic touches, today’s inspiration from Bespoke Events is a wonderful embodiment of modern elegance and casts a soft, dreamy spell. The look for the bride with her loose tresses and natural, radiant makeup by Lola Beauty evokes an effortless, timeless beauty as she glides around the stately Villa Antonia in a gorgeous lace gown from Elizabeth Mackenzie. We’re captivated by these images from Honey Gem Creative!
From Lindsay Meier of Bespoke Events: The venue, Villa Antonia, was originally built as a private residence with a romantic old world feel. Set against the rolling hills of the Texas Hill Country you almost feel as if you’ve been transported to Tuscany, and we wanted to honor the setting while bringing in some clean, contemporary elements to avoid feeling overly thematic.
I love the juxtaposition of mixing old with new, and showing clients that you don’t have to choose just one style – its okay to mix elements to create a wedding that is uniquely yours. I also love unexpected palettes. For the tablescape we used a beautiful La Tavola linen in a soft blue velvet. This is the only place blue makes an appearance in the palette, so it feels a bit unexpected while offering the perfect complement to the pink, mauve and lavender tones of the floral. The venue has a lot of warm tones in the architecture, so the blue also adds balance to the palette.
Because the setting is so elaborate, we stayed clean and simple with the china and brushed gold flatware while bringing in a touch of elegance with the gold rimmed crystal goblets and brass candlesticks. The florals by Remi and Gold were the perfect balance of soft romantic elements, arranged in an organic pattern to keep from feeling overly traditional.
For the bride’s look we took the same approach of contemporary meets classic. The Elizabeth Mackenzie gown and cathedral veil brought in just the right touch of classic elements with the soft silhouette and delicate lace detailing. For her accessories we choose delicate pieces that felt romantic and timeliness to complete her ensemble
