From the bride: Ivan and I met through one of our best friends, Kelli, at a Drake concert in Oklahoma City. It’s still funny to this day and was so special to have Kelli and her husband at our wedding because they truly are the reason we met. I remember him telling Kelli…make sure your friend knows that I am single. And of course…I had my eye on him the whole night. He’s so charming and very easy on the eyes, so it wasn’t a hard thing for me to notice. We have been together since that concert and ended up moving to Colorado together after dating for two years in Oklahoma. I am so thankful to have this man in my life and the love we share. Our wedding on the beach with all of our friends and family was just the icing on the cake!
The most special part of my wedding was being able to celebrate with 54 of our closest friends and families at the most amazing resort. We had several days before and after to spend a lot of quality time with our guests that we would not have had if we were to get married in Oklahoma or Colorado. That quality time with each other was truly one of the best parts of the wedding.The girls laid out on the beach and laughed at all our funny memories we have together and the boys were able to go deep sea fishing one day, as well as other activities.It was almost surreal to have these moments and I definitely didn’t want it to end. The resort provided us with a perfect wedding location and I cannot say enough about the convenience and ease of having a destination wedding. I didn’t worry about anything and everything went just as planned.
