A beautiful and brightly colored party on a private island in Florida set the stage for Hannah & Emran’s lovely day!
from the photographer: “This was a private estate wedding on the private island of North Captiva in Southwest Florida.
The bride’s parent hosted the wedding at their private estate on the beach, which made the celebration extra special and intimate. All vendors, guests, and set-up crew were ferried across the gulf via private charter, which added to the exclusivity of the event and made for a “getaway” feel to the entire weekend.
Hannah’s parents hail from Minnesota but snowbird in Florida, while Emran is originally from Singapore. His immediate family was able to attend, and since Hannah and Emran are from New York, the entire wedding party were destination guests as well!
Hannah’s parents’ backyard was covered by a sailcloth tent with hanging greenery and baskets to showcase the southern, beachy feel of the day.”
from the planner: The entire property was landscaped with love and kept the original flora and fauna of the landscape in mind. The bride’s mother worked tirelessly designing gardens, pathways, and lighting surrounding the reception. We brought in Sperry Tents to blend in with the island’s natural setting, creating the perfect oasis to celebrate in their backyard. The ceremony & reception both took place on a remote island in Southwest Florida. It is privately owned, with no hotels located on the island. All guests were ferried on and stayed the whole weekend. Vehicles are prohibited on the Island, so transportation was by foot or golf carts. The logistics of getting a full catering team, rentals, and guests on and off the island took the collaboration of the entire vendor team, plus countless outside help and endless days to accomplish.
