Breathing fresh, beautiful ideas into the vision of the modern-day garden wedding, event planner and designer, Gigi Mallatt Events has us completely entranced with today’s editorial at the Charles Krug Winery in Napa Valley. The elegant, outdoor tablescape stands out with a bold and whimsical, patterned linen and an exquisite, lush centerpiece by Delphinium Floral, alongside a mixture of neutral and gilded accents. Contemporary, chiavari seating and delicate calligraphy by Farmette Press help add the finishing touches.
We may have just found the dress of our dreams with the bride’s Hayley Paige wedding gown – how gorgeous is that striped detailing and full, cascading skirt! Kate Anfinson Photography snapped all of the pretty details, to swoon-worthy effect!
From Gigi Mallatt Events: Our location and backdrop served as the main focus and inspiration for this styled shoot. The lush gardens and the history behind the winery (the oldest winery in Napa Valley!) made for a warm and inviting editorial. That same vibe was incorporated into the tablescape as well. We adorned the table in printed linen that imitated that garden aesthetic in a bold blue and grey. The florals added that pop of summer in various color and floral varieties. Although a formal setting, it felt very comfortable and welcoming, which was a mood that we wanted to carry throughout the shoot. This happened very easily with a our couple, Ana and Ernesto. These two have known each other since elementary school, and their chemistry was simply amazing to see! For the cake, we really wanted to incorporate the color black that is not often used in weddings, but showcase it as an accent weaved in bits and pieces throughout.
