We have a special treat in today’s editorial which starts on board a luxury sailing yacht in a picturesque bay (part one) and ends (see part two) in a greenhouse filled with earthy charm, showcasing two different, yet equally gorgeous sides to Mother Nature. Small wonder that the concept for this editorial is, ‘Philocaly’, an old English word meaning “love of beauty”. We’re in awe over the flawless styling, led by an immensely talented team of creatives under the direction of Beth Trenti of Porter & Ives, and completely mesmerized by the work of Bonnie Sen Photography in documenting this dreamy vision! Dive in and stay tuned for part two!

From Bonnie Sen Photography: The shoot was conceptualized by Beth Trenti from Porter & Ives and myself. We knew there was something special about the vintage sailboat, Sail Selina and the Celestine gown by Carol Hannah. We were inspired by the colors of nature on the Chesapeake Bay, and the moment we stepped onto the Sail Selina we knew we had found the perfect setting. The colors in the sunset glistening off the water was the only thing we needed for this beautiful shoot and we did not want to create a visage marked by overstyling and competing with nature.
