Social Media Intern

We’re currently seeking a Social Media Intern to assist in the maintenance of our social media presence. This person will assist in posting to social media networks, engaging with followers and increasing brand awareness, Responsibilities include curating content for digital platforms and promoting sponsors as well as BW Vendor Guide Members.

Our ideal hire will understand and have an affinity for our branding and aesthetic. Exceptional written, verbal, communication and customer-care skills are key to this position. The ideal candidate will be organized, reliable, able to multi-task and meet deadlines. Our hire must posses strong creative skills with a solid eye for detail. They must be able to work remotely, devoting between 6-10 hours a week on assigned tasks. Access to a computer or laptop and high-speed Internet is a must. This is a 6 month unpaid commitment with potential for a part-time position.

Knowledge and experience in marketing, communications, advertising or any related field is a bonus. Perfect for those who would like to gain valuable, hands-on experience in social media marketing.

Sales and Marketing Intern

We are looking for a Sales and Marketing Intern to create and implement marketing strategies, prospect for new business opportunities, assist in coordinating various marketing methods to target current as well as potential clients and handle other duties as assigned.

Our ideal hire will have an understanding and affinity for our branding and aesthetic. They must also have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills and be highly organized with the ability to work independently. The right candidate will be resourceful, analytical and results-oriented with excellent follow-up and problem-solving skills. They should be customer-focused and able to interact professionally and articulately with clients. Excellent sales skills are essential to this role.

Scheduling is flexible between 8-20 hours a week. Access to a computer or laptop and high-speed Internet is a must. This is a 6 month unpaid commitment with potential for future employment.
