We’re happy to delve into this dream world from High Emotion Weddings, documented through the lens of Elena Pavlova and set in the famed Bran Castle of Transylvania. In it, Sleeping Beauty is updated with a modern, gothic twist and fine art styling. Strict attention to detail ensured that a tone of regal elegance reigned supreme from beautiful gilded touches throughout the decor to the bride’s ornate headpiece and breathtaking Joanne Fleming gown. On top of that, the palette of deep purple and blue tones works wonderfully, adding to the atmospheric setting.
From High Emotion Weddings: It is a story about growing love, about castles, legends and dreams, inviting brides-to-be to escape daily reality (and maybe even wedding stress) into a world of fairy tales, a world of magic dreams and fairies. The venue itself is out of the ordinary, it is the renowned Bran Castle in Transylvania, Romania – known as “Dracula’s Castle” (it was actually the place where Vlad Tepes – Bram Stoker’s inspiration for “Dracula” – was imprisoned).
Together with a wonderful team of wedding professionals, I wanted to present the castle as an exquisite wedding venue, in the heart of the Carpathian mountains, in one of Romania’s most picturesque regions, beyond Dracula’s legend.
