I instantly fell in love with the work of Egyptian-French bridal designer Yasmine Yeya when I first spotted this dreamy wedding gown. Since then, the designer has launched a new collection for her label, Maison Yeya. These stunning gowns reflect her signature draping and layering along with the most intricate detailing!
A former business student (with a minor in Arts) who worked in advertising, Yasmine Yeya has an atypical background having learnt everything about fashion from her mother and grandmother without any formal training. In 2008, she was handpicked by a producer to star in Lebanon’s version of ‘Project Runway’ called ‘Mission Fashion’ where contestants were mentored by renowned designer, Elie Saab.
