Our hearts skipped a beat when we saw this engagement session come in – because we love when couples do something different than the normal for their session, and make it uniquely them! Today we’re sharing Nikki and Ryan’s session along the Florida coast, captured beautifully by Lisa Silva. It started in their camper-van, and ended with a fun and sexy paddle board session!
from Lisa Silva: “When Nicki and Ryan said that they wanted to do their engagement session at the beach with their paddle board and an old van turned camper, I could not have been more excited! I absolutely love when couples step out of the box for engagement sessions and really showcase their personalities. Nicki and Ryan live at the beach and it is a big part of their life so they were definitely in their element.
We shot these on the side of A1A in Palm Coast, Florida. The dirt road by the jetties with a view of the ocean in the background was the perfect location for the van. The coquina rock formations on the beach are unique to the area, and remind me a little more of the west coast than the typically flat and sandy Florida beaches.
Nicki and Ryan are a beautiful real couple who just happen to look like models and their laughter and energy is contagious. Their love radiates in these images and to top it off, we had the perfect weather and light that the film scans rendered so beautifully. This is definitely my favorite engagement session to date!”
