Today is a retreat to the sea – a magical little section of California where Natalie and Shane had their engagement session at a secluded beach. We love the dark romantic feel of it all – a little different from how you expect a normal beach engagement session to look! Let’s take a peek at their story …
How did you meet?
Natalie and Shane met on August 25, 2015 on the first day of instruction of the Fall semester at Fresno State. Shane spent all morning in front of the library with his soccer team trying to drum up interest in the club. Natalie was walking by and stopped by to say hello to her friend Eduardo who happened to be a teammate of Shane’s on the soccer team. Being the amazing person that he is, Eduardo noticed Shane’s interest in Natalie and decided to organize an in person meeting between the two. After getting her number, Shane reconnected with Natalie later that day and they talked for hours on campus. They had their first lunch date the very next day, began officially dating on September 5, 2015 and the rest is history!
How did the proposal go?
Shane and Natalie had a wine tasting trip planned on the Central Coast of California to celebrate Shane’s 25th birthday. Unknown to Natalie, Shane was planning to propose. After a day of wine tasting with close friends, they decided to go take photos on the beach at sunset before their dinner reservation. While Shane and Natalie posed for pictures, Shane got down one knee and proposed!
