With its grandeur and refined charm, this editorial will transport you to a world where grace and beauty abound.”
The Venue:
Modeled after the palm houses in Europe and England, they are called Follies; this beautiful Solarium at the private Middleton Estate sits on the blue waters, on the edge of an elite, refined community. Tropical plants and trees greet you as you enter, setting the stage for intimate social gatherings.
Key Elements:
The grand Solarium: Cast in pale green and yellow with marvelous arches, French doors on each side, and a tropical interior, you are surrounded by gorgeous water views as sailboats pass by.
Blooming Borders: Delicate and abundant lavender lined the garden borders, adding pops of color and scent.

Design Inspiration:
This design concept infuses a sense of refined and sophisticated elegance with the organic calm of the water. Manicured paths bordered with lavender, hedges, and vibrant florals serve as the muse for this design. Embracing the beauty and serenity of these traditional gardens, Susan Mccleary, aka Passionflower Sue, blends classic elements with a touch of whimsy, creating a truly captivating experience with her floral arch. Ashley of Brunette Blossoms and Lo& Co designed an elegant, refined tablescape.
Décor and Styling:
Timeless Color Palette: Embracing an classical aesthetic, the color palette is a harmonious blend of monochromatic yellows, ivory, blushes, pale golds, and green to evoke understated luxury. These elegant tones are in every aspect of the décor, from the floral arrangements to the table settings.
Floral Splendor: Enveloping the property, an abundance of romantic blooms graced the space. Cascading arrangements Ninebark “Westminster Abbey” roses Cafe foxglove Matthiola Lady’s mantle “Wendy” spray roses adorned the ceremony backdrop and reception table.
A delicate headpiece made of egonia Tweedia Star of Bethlehem Hydrangea Bouquets begets an air of formality yet playful in its structure.

Fashion and Attire:
Bride’s Ensemble: The bride exudes timeless beauty in two breathtaking gowns. At the tablescape, she is in Viero Bridal “Olivia” dress with a beautiful overskirt and intricate beading, and the second gown with the floral arch and vintage car is a spectacular Milla Nova “Helen” with floral detailing and a flowing train. Delicate stitchwork and a classic silhouette reflected the elegance of the Solarium. Adorned with luxurious accessory pieces by Bel Aire Bridal Bridal and a bouquet of incredible, cascading pale roses, she captivated all with her ethereal presence. A truly radiant ring, this hand-carved cathedral setting with double claw prongs elevates a nearly 3ct peachy-champagne tourmaline cut by Victoria Raynaud and sourced from Congo, Africa by Gil Yuda pairs beautifully with blush pearl earrings.
Groom’s Attire: The groom complemented the bride’s grace with a traditional custom-tailored black tuxedo by Rimanelli’s Custom Tailor. A crisp white shirt, complemented by a black bowtie, exudes sophistication.
Edward and Caroline exchanged vows in front of a romantic ground arch adorned with delicate, lush blooms in front of the Solarium, their love intertwining with the surrounding beauty. The air was filled with the sounds of birds and the fragrance of fresh blossoms, and the glow of the day filtered through the foliage, casting a romantic light upon Caroline’s dress. They had an intimate gathering with a few select guests.
Their grace and radiant smiles reflected the joy of the day. As the sun set and the evening ended, they exited in a vintage Mercedes, leaving an indelible mark on everyone present.
