Sometimes a majority of beach weddings look the same, or have similar elements. We love how Taylor & Ricky up-ended the beach wedding norm with their own spin on how it should look, with this organic and elegant, almost bohemian look to it. And the colors! So beautiful.
from the bride, Taylor: “We met 10 years ago on MySpace my freshman year. We are high school sweethearts. We had our daughter Brixtyn 5 years into dating and got married when she was 3. We now share another daughter Birkley.
It was very important to us to share our wedding day with everyone who helped shape us and was apart of our relationship throughout the years. We love to party and enjoy our family and friends so having a big bridal party was an easy choice for us. I always dreamed of getting married on the beach with an outdoor string light reception so Rincon was everything I could have imagined when we found the venue. I really love florals so having that be our main focus for decor was important to me.
I love neutrals and muted tones with a little pop of color. I was so happy with the beige tux we chose for the guys and the dusty blue for the girls skirts was such a pretty combo for the beach. I loved the way it flowed and really wanted everyone to be barefoot and just enjoy the beach with sand between their toes.”
What was the most important and favorite parts of the day?
Photography. I am a wedding photographer myself so it was very important to me to have someone I trusted to capture everything important to us. Choosing Valorie was the easiest decision for us. She was phenomenal and we absolutely love our photos.
Our favorite part was by far having our little girl Brixtyn be apart of it all. She completed the day and we couldn’t have imagined our wedding day without her with us.
I love love flowers so splurging on those was a must. I loved the colors we chose it fit so well with our attire and decor. We chose to use peonies and roses as our main focus with lots of greenery.
