Every now and then you happen across a photoshoot that leaves you completely obsessed. That’s exactly how it felt to see these images from Leighanne Herr Photography, after all it’s not often you come across a piano in the water! Drawing on inspiration from the sea, Leighanne lead us into a world of mythical proportions where ethereal sirens reign, draped in gowns from Gossamer and Flora and Lane, each representing a different bridal look to draw inspiration from. Jaw-dropping blooms by Blush and Vine complete the tale of enchantment in these images!

From Leighanne Herr Photography: Powerful and gentle, serene and chaotic, water embodies so many characteristics, and its melody is different to each individual captivated by its call. I aspired to create looks that depicted a few of these characteristics and that could be useful for a bride planning her wedding day by the sea. I gutted an old piano and hauled it down to the water (with quite a bit of help!) as a rather literal approach to this concept. Blush and Vine designed beautiful arrangements incorporating coral and seashells and Adorne Artistry created beautiful looks for each model reminiscent of all of the different characteristics of the ocean.
