Fabulous Tropical Wedding Cake Idea

I have a serious addiction to Instagram (come join us over there if you haven’t as yet, I love finding new accounts to follow) and as soon as I spotted this gorgeous, tropical cake whipped up by Heritage Organic Cakes, it was love at first sight!

I’m beyond thrilled that cake designer, Helena is sharing her work with us today (you can see her original post here, over on the wonderful School of Styling). This sumptuous Triple Coconut Cake is the perfect touch for a chic, tropical wedding or a whimsical, summertime celebration!

From Heritage Organic Cakes: This is a Triple Coconut Cake with coconut milk, oil, and flakes blended into the batter.  The cake layers are stacked between fillings of fresh, puréed mango and coconut Swiss meringue buttercream and the entire cake is covered in oversized coconut chips.

Now, doesn’t that sound heavenly? You can see some more of Helena’s stunning creations here!

  1. How can one cake be so ridiculously pretty? I love how the cake is adorned with an actual coconut, such a fresh and creative idea!

  7. Halle Bates

I am looking to recreate this for a bridal shower! DOyou by chance have the names of all the flowers on this cake?

Hi Halle, I know Pin Cushion Protea and Lilies were used, for anything else you can check with a florist or contact Helena who created and styled the cake; you can reach her at this page- http://www.heritage-at-home.com/contact/. Good luck with your bridal shower! xoxo
