Rooted in the heritage and landscape of the South Okanagan, this editorial celebrates the beauty of family, history, and harvest. Designed to honor the region’s orchard traditions and heirloom charm, the shoot brings together local artistry, timeless design, and the warmth of community.
After a year without peaches due to a late frost, the valley returned to abundance—an occasion beautifully captured through every element of this editorial. Styled by The Curated Plate Co., the tablescape featured vintage floral china atop lace linens, with perfectly ripe peaches doubling as décor and favors. Meg by Design Floral crafted organic arrangements of dahlias, cosmos, and garden roses in peach, blush, and golden tones—reflecting the orchard blooms and desert sagebrush that frame Kaleden’s serene landscape.
A celebration of collaboration, the editorial included local touches such as wines from Lakeboat Vineyard & Winery, a peach-adorned cake by Hugs & Kisses Bake Shop, and heirloom-inspired jewelry by Nomad Jewelry. The bride’s look combined modern minimalism with vintage grace: a sleek gown by Cande Bridal accented with a wide-brim hat from Hat-itude Okanagan. With her glowing natural makeup by Makeup by Hafsa and a windswept equestrian portrait that nods to the valley’s country roots, the aesthetic captured the effortless romance of life between orchards and mountains.
