From Lyndah Wells Photography: Peggy & Chris met in university in 2001. “The first time we saw each other was in class and we were later introduced by mutual friends. We started dating during the summer of our final year in university and have been together ever since.”
They wanted a Caribbean vacation and it was the Pink Sand beach that drew them to Harbour Island, in The Bahamas. Flying in from Hong Kong they decided on an engagement shoot about a month prior to leaving. After carefully choosing photographer Lyndah Wells, based in Freeport, Grand Bahama, props, styling and locations were all confirmed and everything was set. Habour Island is only 3 miles long and the mode of transportation is on golf carts! This made for a fun session complete with large balloons and custom props ordered from Etsy.
Peggy wore a floor length Vera Wang dress in a dusty pink whilst Chris work a stylish Navy blue suit for their first look. Assisted by local photographer Donna Whitfield-Decosta, Peggy & Chris made sure to capture their love by such scenic locations by the waterfront and The Haunted house. Ending the day back on the grounds of Coral Sands Hotel, Peggy changed into a simple grey dress with a a symmetrical hemline whilst chris relaxed in a pink shirt and white cotton trousers. Heading out to Pink Sands beach, they couldn’t resist getting a little wet!
