Today’s San Juan, Puerto Rico wedding is the definition of romantic sophistication! The pretty affair, captured perfectly by Cory & Jackie, manages to be both timeless and modern, marrying a classic ballroom setting with organic, lush greenery and rustic elegant touches. Complementing this rich fusion, is a gorgeous navy and green palette with neutral accents. The result is so utterly breathtaking! As if that weren’t enough, there’s also a whimsical day after session to adore later today!

From Cory & Jackie: Zack and Bibiana were married at the beautiful Iglesia San Jorge and their reception was at the Casa Olimpica. The reception was particularly fitting since the bride is from Puerto Rico and was a gymnast for Puerto Rico, so the venue signified a very important part of Bibiana’s life.
On the day of the wedding, there was an unexpected wedding crasher. Tropical Storm Bertha came through Puerto Rico and was unrelentless with rain and wind. We did the best we could given the circumstances and still managed to get some beautiful photos of the bride and groom and bridal party at Casa Olimpica. Because of Big Bertha, we felt as if we didn’t have enough photos of the couple and we really wanted to capture Old San Juan’s beauty and the bride’s native country. So the next day we did a day after session with Zack and Bibiana. The red petals lined the blue cobblestone streets and we stopped for some authentic shaved ice. Something you wouldn’t normally capture on the day of a wedding.
Otilio Santiago was the wedding planner and designer. He did an amazing job creating an earthy and organic feel to the decor while complimenting the aesthetic and class of Casa Olimpica.
