From Dyanna Joy Photography: One warm spring day, Rob had to make a stop at the local bookstore to purchase a book his friend recommended he read. While looking for the book, within the non-fiction section, he saw a beautiful woman, actually holding the book he wanted to buy. He smiled at her, and she shyly smiled back. He saw that she took the last one, and asked her if she planned to purchase the book. She said yes. And instead of giving him the book, she gave him her phone number. It didn’t take long for Rob to call Gemma. A week later they met up for coffee at the same bookstore, and Gemma finally let Rob borrow the book.
A year later, Rob surprised Gemma with a trip to Jamaica. Halfway through the week, he brought her down to the beach, where he surprised her by proposing on a beautiful veranda overlooking the ocean. Rob had been in contact with Dyanna Joy Photography, and flew Dyanna Joy to Jamaica to photograph the proposal as well as engagement photos along the pristine beach of Half Moon Bay Resort in Montego Bay, Jamaica. Half Moon Bay has earned a reputation of the finest resort hotels in the world. Located in the parish of St. James on the north coast of Jamaica, Half Moon sits admits a private estate of 400 acres. Within the property are beautifully landscaped gardens, a nature reserve, and 197 rooms and suites scattered amongst white-rendered cottages and villas. All fronted by two miles of private beach, one of the loveliest in Jamaica. You can also find fine dinging, an 18 hole championship golf course, an equestrian centre, thirteen tennis courts, and a multitude of water and land sports that culminate in a private dolphin lagoon. It was the perfect backdrop to a perfect proposal.
