South Asian Glam Wedding Inspiration

Beauty meets glam. Here’s a fresh spin on a south asian wedding celebration bringing in organic and ethereal elements to create a fine art driven wedding celebration. We love the glamour combined with all of the garden elements!

from the designer: “In this bridal editorial, fine art meets whimsical garden. The inspiration behind this design was driven by the desire to create a romantic and ethereal sangeet and wedding day, perfect for a modern South Asian bride. From the pastel-coloured crystal adorned gowns, to the soft glam of makeup and hair, to the reception tableware, every element was carefully designed by Isabel from LoveLee Celebrations to mix tradition with fine art. The intricate gold designs in the tableware mixed with glassware was a nod to traditional elegance for this South Asian wedding.

Sanford Hall offered a backdrop that was not only beautifully lit with natural streams of sun rays but also had wide wooden window sills perfect to frame the guest table. Bloomberry & Co. brought soft toffee tones, ivories, and pink florals alongside a plethora of greenery and vines that overgrows along walls and stretched across windows. An installation that led to garden favourites including blush roses, ivory ranunculus, and white hydrangeas was a real sensual treat.

Noor Artistry designed the makeup to look fresh with a dewy glow, while Shannon Petrolito created soft, romantic hairstyles ensuring timeless beauty. The brides wore beautifully detailed designs from Mani Jassal and Dulhan by Mischief. Banglez Jewelry curated customized accessory sets for each outfit. For a second wardrobe change we took the party to Dundurn Castle nearby, a historic neo-classical mansion built in the 1830’s. Although there was heavy rain, we ducked out in a covered portion that ended up having a perfect stone wall backdrop.”
