Proposals are the best- there’s nothing more romantic than catching a glimpse of where part of the journey all began and I have to admit, my heart always beats with a flurry of excitement whenever I read or watch one unfold! From Ayenia Nour Photography: I am thrilled to share this beautiful proposal and engagement session in Havana Cuba with you. I have been lucky enough to visit quite a few charming places but honestly, nothing compares to the beauty and uniqueness of my homeland, Havana, Cuba. When I received the initial message from Marcio and Elisabete I was over the moon with excitement. It is nice to see more and more couples wanting to document their love while visiting Cuba. A few days later Marcio emailed me in secret to explain his proposal plan, since they never visited Cuba before I suggested the perfect location: La Plaza de La Catedral (The Cathedral Square). This is one of the most valuable historical sites in the city, facing a beautiful Cathedral. A month passed by and they traveled across the world from Mozambique while I flew in from New York City. We met in Havana at the gardens of The National Hotel to introduce ourselves and to talk about our upcoming photographic adventure. Marcio and Elisabete were so happy and so in love, I knew then that we would have a blast! Even though I know Havana very well we had fun discovering new colorful places and admiring the many layers of the city. Lovers of good food, good travel and good beaches, they found everything they wanted in this gorgeous island and more.
