It’s always such a thrill to view the work of photographer Sara Weir and Florist Brie Walter of Pavan Floral (we’re still mesmerized by their California Summer Wedding Inspiration photoshoot). The editorial today highlights the fascinating process behind bringing the artistic vision of a wedding to life. The resulting mixture of lush fruits, rich textures and vibrant hues against a moody backdrop evokes a beautiful Dutch Masters sensibility. Equally delightful is the bride’s minimalist Joanna August gown which embodies a modern, understated elegance. We’re completely awe-struck by these gorgeous images!

From Sara Weir: To me, the story is about a creative who is creating and you see the moments of her creations as they evolve from conception, to fulfillment and even to deconstruction! The simple bride in her slip dress is the perfect crowning jewel. I really wanted to humanize the details. The wedding story is about more than just the big moments! There are these beautiful people behind the scenes creating and striving for beauty! This shoot was about that and about the richness of color and artisan details. This inspiration is for the bride searching for something real to create an environment that is as beautiful as home feels!
