From Mylyn Wood Photography: I’m an island girl, the water will always have my heart. Unsurprisingly, The Little Mermaid has been a favorite of mine since I was a child. To this day I still covet long, red hair and find instant relief in the sound of crashing waves. When Caroline of Sweet Caroline Styles approached me with styling and shooting a few of her custom gowns I immediately thought of the ocean and Ariel. Our amazing model, Heidi Carpenter, put on a brave face as we turned her gorgeous auburn hair to a bright, luscious pink.
To show the versatility of her designs we went full on romantic to match the sweeping waves and flowing fabric in her Tennyson skirt in Rosewood while going a completely different direction with a modern and whimsical look for the Penelope trumpet skirt. Whether you’re going flowy or sleek, Sweet Caroline Styles has a gown that will blow it out of the water.
