What a whirlwind weekend! I made it to the Forever I Do Wedding Seminar & Expo- see the photos on Facebook and I had to split my time between that and keeping up with the constant Twitter updates of all the pretty coming out of the NYC Spring Bridal Market 2014. So heady with excitement over what we’ll be posting over the next few days!
There’s been incredible buzz over Vera Wang’s edgy 2014 collection with its strikingly bold black & white palette, textured layers, geometric patterns and sexy, black, leather gloves. The collection is meant to celebrate “a sense of architecture and discipline”. Modern? Yes. Dramatic? Yes. But…while I do adore the unique sense of direction and really love some of the dresses here, I have to admit, this collection hasn’t quite blown me away as much as her previous work. Still, this is Vera Wang- and the few designs that I do relish from this collection are simply beautiful:
