Drawing inspiration from a specific era can be a wonderful way to tap into creative ideas for your wedding celebration. As you may have noticed, we are already huge fans of the ‘old world elegance‘ bridal trend so we were immediately intrigued by the thought of a French Renaissance-inspired vision. To our delight, this styled shoot from the lens of Jenzel Velo Photography at a Sylvie Gil Workshop, is everything we could have hoped for and more.

Sumptuous florals abound- from the bride’s hair, to her cascading bouquet, right down to the refined tablescape garnished with tall, regal candles and lush, spring blooms. We can hardly take our eyes off the elegantly detailed Naeem Khan wedding dress and with a treasure trove of details to adore such as the vintage-styled stationery by Aerialist Press, we’ll be referencing this photoshoot for a long time to come!

From the painterly-like boudoir, to the welcome reception full of deep colours and gorgeous centerpieces, to the insane floral creations, the designs from this workshop blew me away!
