From The Ganeys: Matt and Alecia’s Boca Grande engagement session was a weekend we had been looking forward to for months! One day I received an email from Alecia with a “crazy idea” – which was far from crazy. Alecia had spent many summers on Boca Grande and Useppa (a small island off the west coast of Florida) and loved the location for its sweet charm, history, and gorgeous banyan trees. Those streets hold a special place in her heart and had become her little slice of heaven. When she tossed out the idea of taking her and Matt’s engagement photos on Boca Grande it was a done deal! Thomas and I love exploring and being inspired by new locations!
I loved that we didn’t really have a plan for this session – it was just an adventure. Alecia had a few spots in mind, but beyond that, we followed the light and found the most charming allies and nooks. These two filled us with so much energy! They could not be more perfect for each other! The way that they look at each other melts my heart, and they’ve got the most beautiful smiles! Throughout their session they laughed at each other and we all had the best time.
