Hope you enjoyed a wonderful week! We’re closing out with this 2014 collection from Berlin-based label, Kaviar Gauche. Designers Alexandra Fischer-Roehler and Johanna KĂŒhl were inspired by porcelain wedding china which, with its intricate floral patterning, represents a fusion of strength and delicate beauty. The designers’ use of French lace embroidery (a first in their collections) perfectly symbolizes the delicate floral motifs. The shiny metallic belt paired against the soft and flowing fabrics is also a nod to the designersâ love for playing with the idea of contrasting details. Altogether a very romantic collection and a wonderful tribute to modern glamour!
