from the photographer: “In the heart of the Luberon region, in the South of France, between lavender fields, vineyards and picturesque landscapes, that the inspirational wedding of Léa and Nicolas took place.
We found ourselves in an idyllic setting. The Château de Mille welcomed us to take the shots of the D-Day of the ceremony. Located in Apt, it is the oldest wine estate in the region. It is built on an old Roman villa dating back to antiquity. Its authentic architecture and flower gardens convey a romantic atmosphere.
We chose the emblematic village of Gordes for the couple session, in the early morning to have beautiful soft golden lights.
The search for elegance and innovative poses were the common thread of the session. The models readily responded to the desired movements and emotions. Their outfits were in keeping with the luxury theme. Léa wore a long dress with wide sleeves falling to her elbows, golden earrings embellished with small white flowers and powder pink makeup, soft and natural. As for Nicolas, he was dressed in a black tuxedo with a white shirt, leather moccasins. A chic and elegant look.
The table for the wedding reception was set in one of the castle courtyards, next to a splendid stone staircase. The place is very intimate and immerses us in the heart of the history of the castle.
The decoration of the table as well as the bouquet of the bride have pink tones that recall femininity. Details of blue are found in particular in the pattern of the plates and transport us to a timeless world.
The touches of gold on the cutlery, the candlesticks and the underplates give way to luxury and perfection.
The floral compositions perfectly complement the romantic atmosphere: roses, sweet peas, clematis or even bluebells.
The complementarity of its three colors offers the whole table and the wedding in general, a refined and delicate universe.
An inspiring shoot that takes us into the luxury, elegance and romance so sought after in fine art wedding photography.”
