O.k. call me a romantic but I think there’s something really sweet about getting married on New Year’s. It’s so perfectly symbolic – new beginnings, new journey and all that heartwarming jazz. Plus, every old year’s night celebration would end with the dawn of another blissful anniversary to share with your honey.
Sappy, I know!
Anyway, I think dressing for a New Year’s wedding would be loads of fun with dramatic flourishes and sparkly little details mixed in.
The bride from this post changed into this really cute number at the reception. Perfect fit for the dance floor at any New Year’s Eve celebration:

I really love this soft allure of this Sarah Seven Dress. It’s evokes a Modern Day Juliet- well what she would have worn if she and Romeo had gotten a Hollywood ending (darn you Shakespeare and my stupid teenage heart):

These details are so gorgeous, serious envy going on here:

If you’re going to be with the grand romantic gestures and all (as a New Year’s wedding may imply) then it’s only fitting for you to bedazzle in a gorgeous, dramatic gown, ruffled to perfection- the divine heroine of your own love story.

Hope you guys have a lovely celebration, whatever your plans!! Here’s wishing you all out there many blessings and lots of love in the New Year!
