We are ending the week on the loveliest note with this charming bridal session all the way from North Carolina. Captured to perfection by Christina Forbes Photography, are some the most picturesque locations in the Outer Banks. Amidst all the beauty, this couple is so natural and effortless in front of the camera- it’s hard to believe they aren’t models and the bride’s incredible Vera Wang ballgown, with it’s classic V-neck and divine ruffles, gives us yet another reason to swoon!

From Christina Forbes Photography: I shot Janna and Adam’s gorgeous shabby chic wedding this past September. With a large bridal party, traditional family portraits and a storm off in the distance, our portrait time was cut very short. I knew that with such a GORGEOUS couple and an AMAZING Vera Wang dress, I had to have more portraits of them! While planning a promotional video for my business I wanted a couple that was not only beautiful but fun and loved being in front of the camera! Janna and Russell were EXACTLY that! We started our session off at one of North Carolina’s lighthouses; the Bodie Lighthouse. We had the most gorgeous, warm light while shooting there.
I also wanted to shoot somewhere where we would have a little more texture to the images. Another hidden gem on the Outer Banks is the Nags Head Woods. None of us had actually been there, yet we have all traveled to the OBX on a regular basis for just about all our lives. So we were not sure what to expect. We kept driving down a narrow path that seemed to go on forever. Finally I saw a small cutout and I knew that I had to stop and check it out. I walked the little path and came to the edge and looked below and there was a tiny little beach with a HUGE tree lying on its side. This was it….they only thing was we had to climb down the side which is all sand. For me and Adam it wasn’t hard at all. Janna and the Vera Wang dress -that was a different story. I was so thankful that she was still willing to attempt to make it down the side. As the sun really started to set it became even more golden and I was getting images with a gorgeous flare and slight haze. Between all the texture and the golden flare the images that we were creating were just so exciting!
Our last stop was of course on the beautiful beaches by the Kitty Hawk Pier. Janna and Adam danced, walked, twirled and completely made the beach even more gorgeous. I’m so thankful that they were so willing to get all dressed up again in wedding attire to have another session with me. It’s always so amazing when I’m working with them!
