From Valerie & Co. Photographers: Every girl wants an epic romance. Someone to sweep her off her feet, and take her on adventures to exotic locales. What is more romantic than a wedding to your hero? A wedding in paradise! Anna and Jonathan will always remember their wedding day; not only did they marry their one true love, but they tied the knot in Saint Lucia! Destination weddings are something of a specialty of ours, here at Valerie & Co. Photographers. Not only that, Anna and Jonathan’s wedding was exactly the type of wedding we adore- intimate, fun and full of love. Surrounded by clear blue water, mountains, lush exotic plants, and their close family, the happy couple were married. Anna and Jonathan are lucky enough to have one of those families that has fun together; they really welcomed us in to share the day. Even though there were only twelve guests- all family- it felt like one big party. Anna used tropical plants native to the island to decorate, mostly in shades of pink. Her sisters were her bridesmaids. In the open aired Le Gallerie Villa overlooking Soufriere Bay and the Piton Mountains, Anna and Jonathan held their reception. Highlights of the night included the first dance at dusk, champagne toasts and the end of the night send off. Unlike other couples, who have guests blow bubbles or light sparklers, these two left for their honeymoon in a style worthy of a Disney movie- by releasing giant, floating lanterns off the side of the villa over the bay.
