The next flower in our Tropical Flower Series is the beautiful frangipani or plumeria. Their flowers come in an array of colours including white, yellow, pink, red and purple.
Of course, frangipani/plumeria tends to be associated with Hawaii and their gorgeous Lei garlands. The plant is also native to the Caribbean and can be found all over Barbados.
The flowers I see more commonly around here are the yellow, white and pinkish varieties. Have you ever had the pleasure of smelling these flowers? They exude a range of soft, sweet scents- quite heavenly!
