We do love a small backyard rehearsal dinner, and even more so when it’s tropical inspired! How fun and bright is all of this? We love seeing events not shy away from color and have bold choices in their decor.
“This intimate backyard rehearsal dinner designed by Studio Terre is sure to inspire couples looking to bring exotic destinations to home in a time where travel is restricted. This well styled event features details that are vivid, fashion forward and a touch whimsical. Festive, colorful blooms set the stage for a stunning summer evening. The midcentury wood table was decorated with details that brought out the subtle jungle theme, parrots one dinner plates & vintage tiger figurines peeking out of lush florals. The bar cart and rug were custom painted to match the unique color palette. Guests enjoyed fresh citrus cocktails and strawberry cake by candlelight after the sunset. This event shows that a small guest list doesn’t have to equal a small amount of style and creativity. The floral inspiration for this shoot was tropical nouveau which blends topical and temperate floral elements to create a new color-way through textural play. This trend is gaining traction with modern brides who want to marry dramatic color with unexpected elements for their wedding days. Feature blooms making this fun and festive urban backyard photoshoot a standout included: King Protea, Scarlet Anthurium, Phalaenopsis Orchids, and Flamingo Roses. It was truly a labor of love especially on the designers part. She hand painted the mini framed watercolor seating cards, custom painted the rug under the table and the bar cart. Talk about talent!” – Marina Claire Photography
