The vision for this romantic editorial all started when Andrea of Lillian Rose Photography saw a vintage car driving around town. She could not stop thinking about how the car would bring amazing detail to portraits of a wedding couple. When a hand written letter was delivered to the owners, dreams started to become reality for Andrea. The private owners of the car love when their vintage charm can bring smiles to others and were happy to participate. The organic lines and wood details of the car played a big part in the location selection. Andrea wanted to highlight that even if you elope you can still have beautiful thought out details down to the invitation included in your special day.
The wood detail and the open back of the car brought in the inspiration for the ceremony set up. 360 events found the prefect wooden chairs to compliment the natural elements of the car. Three simple but elegant floral arrangements made by Bluegrass Chic were versatile and complimented the organic setting of Lake Louisa State Park. The arrangements were able to be used again for more portraits bringing in the color of the bride’s unexpected detailed gown.
Andrea knew that the car needed paired with a unique wedding dress and details. With the team of bridal stylist, Aisle by Katie Davenport, dress rental of Clare De Lune, and jewelry SJ Bailey Co. the bride was styled to perfection. The bridal gown featured beautiful lavender and blue butterflies and florals. The removable sleeves added the perfect breathtaking detail taking it from a pretty wedding dress to a sensational gown..
