Sarah & Mark’s French Riviera Engagement

Such a beautiful place with an old world feel. Sarah and Mark decided to travel to the village of Eze for their engagement shoot and it turned out beautifully! Plus, they have a fun adventure to remember it by now!

from the photographer: “Sarah & Mark live and work in Canada. Sarah dreams of traveling to the French Riviera. Mark, a high school teacher, is a fan of French history. On my advice, they chose the beautiful medieval village of Eze for their engagement shoot.

Our appointment is at the end of April, date of their anniversary. Together, we walk through the typical streets of this charming medieval village to reach the exceptional hanging garden of Eze. I still see Sarah’s eyes shining. A moment full of tenderness and complicity for these lovers.

Eze is located above the bay of Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, on the border of Cap d’Ail and Monaco. At the top of a rock, this small stone village, with art galleries and its exotic garden, is for me one of the most incredible places of the French Riviera. There is the Château de la Chèvre d’Or, its gastronomic restaurant and its suites facing the sea. Balconies suspended above the void that offer an incredible view of the Mediterranean and the flowered balconies. I have a huge crush on its exotic garden. This place is really the ideal place for a romantic weekend and beautiful couple photo session. I thank again these lovers for their enthusiasm and their kind words of thanks.”
