from the photographer: “A beach in Olympic National Park provided an epic backdrop for Amanda and Robert’s session. I especially love the island formation in the distance! It was a perfect summer evening and such fun to race the tide before it came all the way the in. Their session was care free and they were happy to play in the waves and enjoy the view as they held each other close. I feel their connection really shows through in the way they look at each other — so romantic!
One of my favorites from their session is the double exposure. You never quite know how they’re going to turn out, so I was delighted to see it was exactly how I envisioned it! The almost heart shape their forms make and the pattern of the sea foam as an overlay just came together perfectly.”

We’ve lived in different states together, been flat broke together, found faith together and now we are blessed enough to raise our two beautiful kids in our favorite place in the world. The Pacific Northwest. Where the mountains meet the sea. Living here, with each other is truly a dream come true. I wake up to the mountains and ocean, look at this man of mine every day while my heart explodes from my inner peace, joy and love.
