From Merari Photography: Amanda and Stephen met 10 years ago. They fostered a friendship for a long time until one day they ran into each other at a concert and sparks flew. After a few years of dating they both moved to Miami to work at The Raleigh and fell in love with the art deco vibes. When it came time to plan their wedding they had no doubt they wanted to incorporate it into the special day.
Amanda chose a dusty blue, navy, nude, gold and soft green palette for her wedding that perfectly complimented the venue. She wanted to have a romantic, art deco vibe throughout and it perfectly connected with her dress and their reception decor.
There were a lot of happy tears throughout the first look. Their ceremony took place in the penthouse suite which offered floor to ceiling windows and views of the ocean. After being pronounced husband and wife, all the guests were ushered into the balcony of the hotel for cocktails. Their reception took place in the back gardens of the hotel property. Long farm tables with ghost chairs were perfect for the family style dinner and the newly-weds shared a gorgeous teal colored love seat by their sweetheart table.
The couple and their guests spent the rest of the night laughing, eating and dancing under the stars and you know it’s a good one when the bride ends up getting carried away through the streets of Miami Beach!
