We love this beautiful and romantic couples shoot along the shoreline of Maui. Making the best of the weather and rolling with what mother nature dealt, photographer Two Fourteen Photography captured some beautiful moments with Abbie and Pono!
from the photographers: “We met Abbie and Pono, who are locals, during our trip to Kapalua, Maui. Their love story is fun, adventurous, and exciting. They met through mutual friends and have been inseparable ever since.
The sun was rising; during our 90-minute session, we experienced terrific Hawaiian tropical weather. The morning started cloudily, then turned to pouring rain, and the session ended with the sun shining.
We saw some Opihi shellfish at the beach during our session, a seafood delicacy in the Hawaiian culture. Opihi is a type of limpet only found in Hawaii. They tenaciously cling to rocks along the shoreline, which also symbolizes the love and connection they have for each other. Seeing the Opihi shellfish for us was symbolic because all of our couples have a love connection with each other. We love documenting couples hitting milestones in their lives like engagements, bridal portraits, and weddings.”
